"Robin's Tasha"

"Robin's Tasha"
8x10" Oil on Museum-Quality Board
SOLD

Back in July, I was very excited to be commissioned by a friend from North Carolina to paint her little fur-baby, ‘Tasha’. Robin’s 4-legged child had passed due to serious illness. Being only the third pet painting I had completed and the first commission, I was in hopes that it would meet her expectations. She received it via mail, and was pleased….which makes me totally ecstatic!

I think ‘Tasha’ is waiting at Rainbow Bridge for my friend…. healthy, happy, and playing with the many furry children that have gone before her, including my own beloved fur-babies, all of whom have provided us with ‘unconditional love’ for as long as possible.  I feel certain Robin will see ‘Tasha’ again one day, when she meets her to ‘cross over’ the Bridge, because God created and loves “all creatures big and small”.  Meanwhile, she will have a lasting memorial in oil on canvas.
